What do you like to do in your free time, i.e., hobbies?
I like to read, play games, do puzzles in my free time. I would do some crafts like paint by number, and Latch Hook crafts in my early days as well. I am on the Civic Club now in my community and I am the Secretary. I take notes at our meetings and type them up and give to the City. We plan yearly holiday events and other activities as well that the residents in the community wish to see. I love being involved and more in my Community.

The name of my website is now Echoes of a Snow Leopard

What inspired you to create your website?
This website in competition now was given to me to take over by a friend. My first ever website was Wendy’s World of Richard Marx. It was a page about the singer and I had an invite to join a competition so I gave it a try and never looked back. I have been staff at competitions for 20 years and still love it. But my first website I made as mentioned was because when first had internet was into his music and had a lot of friends in a group as well that all enjoyed his music. So I decided to make that page. But things and more I couldn’t keep it up.

Tell us a little about you, i.e., family, job, friends.
I was born in a small town in upstate New York called Hornell. It was a small town. Not a city atmosphere by any means. So didn’t have big crowds at stores, school and so on. I moved to Texas in August of 1981 due to had to find work elsewhere. I had just completed my Freshman year of high school and was going into my Sophomore year when I moved. I live in Shenandoah, Texas now. It is in Montgomery County Texas. Houston is an hour south of me while Dallas is 3 hours north and Austin/San Antonio are 3 hours west of me. Was a big change from the small town life but it was a move that had to be made. I still miss things then but wouldn’t go back as town is not same from those days.

I went on to complete High School and went to Sam Houston State University to get my Bachelor’s degree and become an Elementary School teacher. I had a good few teachers I looked up to in my early days. And I loved working with children.

I have been in Web Competitions for 20 years or more as a fighter with my first site Wendy’s World of Richard Marx. I no longer have this site as school and other things just couldn’t keep it up and have it like would have liked the page. I have been staff at many comps over years as well and I took to that more. I am competing today with a Website a friend let me use and with my pets we have had over years as well.

But have loved the friends have made and more and wish could physically meet some day.

What is your favorite food?
Favorite food is Pizza, spaghetti. Beverage: I Love Strawberry Daiquiries but I am a Pepsi drinker of sodas and love my fruit juices too. Dessert: I love a lot of things from cookies to pies, cakes you name it. But I miss my grandfather’s Apple pie on my mother’s side of family.

What is/are your favorite color(s)?
I love red, blue and purple.

What music do you enjoy listening to or playing?
I love a lot of music. I listen to Classic Country, 70’s and 80’s pop, I loved a lot of country artists that were popular in 80’s and 90’s like Reba, George Strait, even today with Keith Urban. I have too many artists to name but have genre and years.

Name your favourite Movie or TV character and why.
Favorite Movie would be The Sound of Music with Julie Andrews. Loved her in Mary Poppins too. A TV Character that probably still resonates with today as well Mr. Rogers just brought out a lot of beliefs and more and goodness and strive to better and more.

If you could be any kind of mystickal creature, who or what would it be and why?
I would love to be a Unicorn. Just the beauty of a unicorn and more the creature brings.

Do you belong to any other website competitions?
I am staff at a couple of our sister competitions Little Dragons Castle I am Lady Gaia as well and compete with my Echoes site and my pets. I am also at Merlin’s Castle where I do the Yuletide Memories team and the Mythical Creatures team and am a Co –owner as well.
